Getting in is only
the beginning.
What you do after
determines everything.

Most students treat an admit as the finish line. It's just the starting point.

Intent Outcome Strategy is built for undergraduate and postgraduate students who want to turn their admit into real, long-term career outcomes — not just a degree and a hope.

Where most students go wrong
Most students
Stop at the admit. Assume the rest will work itself out.
GradIntent
Plans from admit through career execution — from day one.
Most students
Choose courses to protect GPA. Follow peers on internships.
GradIntent
Build every decision around target roles and real hiring signals.
Most students
Realise the missed opportunities too late — after they've passed.
GradIntent
Front-loads the decisions that compound — starting before semester one.

Where most students
stop is exactly where
outcomes are built.

Getting into a good program is necessary. It is not sufficient. The degree is a vehicle — and most students don't learn to drive it until it's too late to change course.

Recruiters don't see the admit. They see the courses you chose, the internships you landed, the projects you built, and the roles you took on campus. Every one of those is a decision — and most students make them without a strategy.

Undergraduate Students

Starting your undergraduate degree abroad?

The first year of an undergraduate degree sets trajectories that are difficult to reverse. Intent Outcome Strategy helps you make the right decisions from day one — before most of your peers have even thought about them.

  • Choosing courses and electives that build real career signal — not just GPA
  • Deciding on a specialisation or major track based on hiring demand
  • Starting internship preparation at the right time — not reactively
  • Positioning yourself on campus for roles that compound your profile
  • Understanding how global hiring works before you're in the middle of it
Postgraduate Students

Have your MS, MBA, or Masters admit in hand?

Most postgraduate students arrive on campus without a strategy for what comes next. The first semester passes before they realise the recruiting timeline has already started. Intent Outcome Strategy fixes this — before it becomes a problem.

  • Selecting the right track or specialisation — before locking in your courses
  • Understanding the exact recruiting timeline for your target roles
  • Building projects and capstone work that serves as proof of ability
  • Mapping on-campus positioning to career outcomes — not activity volume
  • Accessing real industry insight on what actually gets candidates selected

Six decisions.
All of them consequential.

Each component addresses a specific mistake that the vast majority of students make — and the reality of how that decision actually affects career outcomes. Most students realise these too late. This is where we make sure you don't.

Component 01
📚

Course & Elective Strategy

Course selection strategy for UG + PG
Mistake
Choosing easy courses to protect GPA. Looks safe — signals low ambition to recruiters.
Reality
Recruiters evaluate course choices as a signal of depth and intent. The right electives actively strengthen your hiring profile.
Your coursework works for your career — not against it
Component 02
🎯

Track & Specialisation Decisions

Maximise your degree outcomes abroad
Mistake
Picking what's popular or what peers are doing. Ends up in overcrowded, low-differentiation tracks.
Reality
Hiring happens in specific, demand-driven areas. The right specialisation aligns directly with your target roles — not the crowd.
You position yourself where opportunities actually exist
Component 03
🔬

Projects & Capstone Strategy

Real-world high-value industry experiences
Mistake
Treating projects as academic requirements to complete. Misses the single best opportunity to demonstrate real ability.
Reality
Projects are your strongest proof of capability. Role-relevant, high-signal work speaks louder than credentials alone.
Real proof of ability — not just a degree on your CV
Component 04
🚀

Internship Game Plan

Internship strategy for Indian students abroad
Mistake
Starting internship applications when peers do. By then, the most competitive roles are already filled.
Reality
Knowing the real recruiting cycle — optimizing resumes and targeting roles and industries aligned to long-term goals — creates a structural advantage.
You compete early — with an advantage most peers don't have
Component 05
🏫

On-Campus Positioning

Positioning for your career after your degree
Mistake
Joining every club and taking every leadership role available. Activity volume without strategic signal.
Reality
Only a handful of on-campus activities add genuine career signal. Quality and relevance beat volume — every time.
Every commitment compounds your profile — not just your résumé
Component 06
🌐

Industry Access & Insights

Expert-led global career planning for Indian students
Mistake
Relying on peer advice and LinkedIn posts to understand how hiring actually works. Common — and often costly.
Reality
Hiring decisions are made on specific signals most candidates never see. Direct insight from experts in hiring positions changes how you prepare entirely.
You operate with real insight — not assumptions

Not just a degree.
A career that starts
before you graduate.

The outcome of Intent Outcome Strategy isn't a checklist of things done. It's a compounding advantage — built one deliberate decision at a time, starting from the moment you accept your offer.

Students who go through this program arrive at graduation with a coherent, differentiated profile — one built intentionally, not assembled by accident from random activities during your time in campus.

📐
A career-aligned academic record
Courses and specialisation chosen for long-term career goals and target roles — not just what's easy or what peers chose.
💼
Real, role-relevant proof of work
Projects and capstone work that demonstrate specific capability — not academic exercises that don't translate outside the classroom.
🎯
A structured internship approach
The right roles, targeted at the right time — with positioning that stands out because it was built deliberately, not scrambled together.
📈
A compounding career trajectory
Every decision made with intent — so each step strengthens the next, rather than being an isolated activity with no strategic connection.

Guidance from people
who've navigated this.

Intent Outcome Strategy isn't designed by people who studied this from the outside. It's built by mentors who've been through Ivy League programs, navigated global recruiting, and built careers across global markets and industries.

They know what actually gets candidates selected because they've been in the rooms where those decisions are made. That's what they bring to every session.

Post-admit questions.
Answered directly.

The questions students ask most at this stage — answered without hedging.

QI've already accepted my offer and classes start in 3 months. Is it too late?
Not at all — this is actually one of the best moments to start. The three months before you arrive on campus are critical for pre-selecting courses, understanding the specialisation landscape, and mapping the recruiting calendar. Most of the highest-value positioning happens before the first semester, not during it.
QI'm currently in my first year abroad and already feel behind. Can this still help?
Yes. The earlier in your program the better, but mid-degree course corrections are absolutely possible. We'll assess where you are, identify the highest-leverage decisions still available to you — course choices, specialisation pivots, internship positioning — and build a strategy from there. It's never too late to become more intentional.
QI'm doing an undergraduate degree abroad. Is this relevant for me or just for postgraduate students?
Fully relevant — and in many ways, the UG version is even more impactful. An undergraduate degree runs over four years, which means there is far more time to compound good decisions (and recover from bad ones). The core framework — course strategy, specialisation, internships, on-campus positioning — applies equally to both audiences, with the guidance adapted to the context of your specific program and goals.
QMy university has a career services office. Isn't that enough?
Career services offices are valuable for logistics — CV reviews, job fairs, employer contacts. What they don't provide is strategic, career-specific guidance personalised to your profile and target roles. They operate at scale, across all students and all fields. Intent Outcome Strategy is specific to you — your goals, your background, your program, and the roles you're actually trying to land.
QHow is this different from career coaching services I can find online?
Generic career coaching teaches skills and frameworks. Intent Outcome Strategy applies structured thinking to your specific program, target roles, recruiting timeline, and on-campus context. Our mentors have navigated Ivy League programs and built careers across global markets and industries — they're not coaching you on resume formatting. They're giving you the strategic judgment that comes from having done this themselves.
QI'm targeting consulting after my MS. Is there specific guidance for that?
Yes — and this is an area where the guidance is particularly precise. Consulting recruiting follows a very specific timeline and signal set that most students misunderstand until it's too late. Both of our mentors have worked at Oliver Wyman and navigated consulting hiring from the inside. The gap between students who get consulting roles and those who don't is rarely ability — it's timing and positioning.

Most students stop at admits.
Few turn them into ideal outcomes.
